Sunday 30th August - Dinner

We all went up to the bar area about 5.30pm for a pre dinner drink. The bar area was very palatial with big Poppa Bear Chairs so here we are again having a drink and a chat, being waited on by a young lady from Czechoslovakia. Nice and relaxing.

We had dinner booked for 6.45pm and headed for the dining room on the 5th floor and were ushered to our table.
We ordered our meals and wines and Jannie felt a little cool so I headed down to our room for her top. When I got back the prawn cocktail was there and the bread was all consumed.
Our mains arrived and Jan & Paul had steak that was beautiful and tender, my chicken was beautifully cooked and so moist and Jane had salmon. After desserts we headed for the 11th floor to walk out on the deck.
It was a lovely night and unlike previous ones the night was not too hot and there was a little breeze. There is a walking track that we followed for a bit. There were a few people in swimming in the 2 of 4 swimming pools on this ship but no one was in the numerous spa pools.

A fine way to finish the day.
Then it was back to our cabins for a read and then sleep. We won't be making the opening night party that starts at 10.30pm.
