Tuesday 1st September - Koper

We were up much earlier as we were going ashore to have a look at Koper. We got off the boat after Paul and I spent about 40 minutes in a small queue to purchase a shuttle into Ravenna for tomorrow.
Just outside the formalities area for passports and the like we decided to take a bus tour to Piran which is a small town a bit further down the coast for €20.

We had about 40 minutes to kill before the tour left so we walked across the road and got the lift up about 3 floors to the terrace area above which leads into the town.

We got a coffee at Caffe Loggia right in the square and the girls used the free wifi to check up on Face book and the like.
Wifi on the ship costs US$299 for the length of the cruise and neither of us felt inclined to spend that sort of money just to check in once or twice a day. So we have no wifi!
