This morning we had a pleasant walk through St James Park. We were astounded at the abundance of wildlife here in such cold conditions. There were huge numbers of ducks, birds and squirrels. After a bit of a late start, we extricated the car and drove to Windsor Castle. It's huge and very pretty on the inside. Then we drove back to London and returned the car. Dinner at Little Frankies on Whitehall then off to bed after another long but great day...but great!

Had an early start and headed back towards London but with a couple of things to see on the way. First was Stonehenge which was quite impressive. Then we headed for Portsmouth to have a look at the Royal Naval Museum and HMS Victory. Victory was well worth seeing...made up a bit for missing the Cutty Sark. Up early to check out the area. first we went to see the Roman Baths which were cool, but as we had just been to Rome, it didn't seem such a big deal. Then we drove to Stratford-upon-Avon to see Shakespeare's birthplace and Ann Hathaway's cottage. We also found a little magic shop where we tried Butter-beer and Pumpkin Juice.
