Kendall walks the Camino de Santiago
Ok, I will survive. Lots of people will be sleeping in worse places than me tonight. Just had salmon (protein) (& wine!) for dinner. I'm better now. I've arranged to have my pack transported to my next destination - so I won't have to carry it, and I purchased a small daypack for my raincoat, water & snack to take with me tomorrow. I've reserved a HOTEL room at my next destination (omg!) and preparing to return to my room where I'll sleep in my clothes because it's really scary.
And, I'm sorry to my husband for crying like a baby earlier.
Thank you for all your supportive comments. They really help.

Ryan I'm so sorry about your knee! I hope it feels better in the morning. I'm also hoping you get a decent night's sleep. At least you have a long soak in a tub, clean clothes, good meal, and comfy clean bed to look forward to in the coming night. Just keep that thought, and with a lighter pack, your feet will fly tomorrow! And don't worry about crying like a baby to your husband. That's what they are for!! (Sorry about the preposition at the end of the sentence. I still remember all the times you said "behind the at!") I love you.
lynn Kendall not sure if u found a brace but it would be Good. It would REALLY help to ice your knee, essential for you now. Please take 15or 20, like now, or as soon as u are able and do every day after. So please find ice now and later, before you take that long warm bath with wine..Great on the protein! Hope you slept better than you imagined you would, and enjoy a lighter physical load... You rock at this. Love you. Gertrude
Ramona Kendall, Hotel and getting rid of that heavy pack are the smartest things I have ever heard. Now you are thinking like Ramona. I'm sorry about your knee. I hope the wine will help. We are thinking about you all the time and think you are awesome for even doing this. We Love You! MontyMo and Cory too.
Charlene Kendall, Kelly and I are keeping track of your adventure and we have to say we are very proud of you and your training will prove helpful. Ice that knee, and take Advil before you start and on a regular basis. It will help with the swelling. If you can find a knee brace it will give you extra support - see if you can find one that's like neoprene with no metal parts - it will be more comfortable and you are less likely to get blisters. Know that we are in AshVegas cheering you on! Can't wait to read your next posting and GOOD JOB! Just keep putting one ft. in front of the other.
Esther Cartwright Hope today went better and the hotel is fabulous! xoxo
