I just spent an hour typing out a message only to have it disappear when I clicked "post!!" Argh! (FYI - wouldn't recommend this site)

It seems many people walking the Camino spend a considerable amount of time planning and preparing for it. Me, in typical fashion (keeping my options open) didn't. That's kinda funny since its sorta been a pet peeve that a number of people close to me do this and I complain. Recently I've noticed, I do this too - a lot! You know they say, if someone does something that bugs you, it's a good mirror.

Anyway, the first back back and shoes were not the deal. After my first (and noted the only) 17-mile walk wearing pack I had huge sores on my back. So, back to Diamond Brand to exchange the Back pack and on to the next shoes.
