The forecast was for a hot day today. We awoke to a gorgeous blue sky and after brekky went to have a dip in the caravan park's swimming pool. After brekky we drove to the Karrinyup Shopping Centre with a camper van full of pressies. We went to the post office and bought some big parcel boxes before going back to the camper to pack them full of souvenirs and presents to send home. We have accumulated so much stuff that we just haven't got the room in our cases to carry them with us. It was a public holiday for the Queen's birthday in Australia today! How outrageous that Australians get a day off work for the Queen's birthday when we in the UK who pay taxes that go towards keeping this benefit scrounger in luxury don't!!! We didn't do much today. We got up, had brekky, Jay stuck a spoon on her nose, we chilled, had lunch, went food shopping at the Karrinyup Centre, chilled, had tea, chilled and went to bed.

After brekky we had a drive out to Darlington in the Perth Hills to visit Michael and Josephine again. It took us about forty minutes through Perth's expansive suburbs to get there. It was great to see them again and to introduce them to Jay. We had a lovely cuppa, a beautiful spot of lunch and a great catch up on the verandah of their gorgeous house.
