We got up late and decided to have another chilled day. Just after brekky I was walking past the amenities to get to the bins when I saw Kody the dog waiting outside the gents for her owner who was cleaning them. I 'let on' to her and she looked my way. I then walked back to the camper which was out of sight from where Kody was sat. About five minutes later much to my delight Kody came pattering up to the camper van with a tennis ball in her mouth which she proceeded to drop at my feet. She had sought me out and come to play! It was so funny that she had recognised me from the other day and very sweet of her. I spent the best part of the next hour throwing the ball for Kody. She was very clever and jumped in the air and caught the ball. She had taken a real shine to me and kept coming back to me with the ball. Occasionally she'd take the ball to Jay but mainly it was me that she wanted! I have always been very wary of dogs so it was nice to feel a connection with Kody. Jay even got me stroking her under her chin which is something I've never done before without fear of being bitten. Although it was only brief and fleeting me and Kody had a thing going on!! I was dropped though like a brick as soon as Kody's owner called her back. For the rest of the day we chilled out in the sunshine.
