It was service day for the van today. I have now done 20,000 kilometres since I picked it up in Perth. I had booked the van into the K-Mart Tyre & Auto in Townsville. We dropped our lovely little camper off just before nine. It's a 600m sandstone plateau that rises suddenly out of the flat plains all around it. The scenery from the road up to it was spectacular. The road wound it's way up to the top of the plateau.
