Big day today....75 days to go.... much nicer weather than they said......I set off at 10a.m. Straight through Bexleyheath and Welling to run up Shooters Hill for my first time ever........Had to do 2 hours today......Got to the top of the hill....looked at my watch......1.01.10.....perfect. I ran all the way on the sunny side of the street with the light breeze at my back. It was only about +3C but after running at the weekend in -4C it felt like Spring had come. Turned for home...still nice until the last 15 minutes when the wind increased dramatically and it became chilly. Arrived home, took watch off...2.01.16......session done and most enjoyable...even without Peter. I think I had better lie down for the rest of the day as it has been a momentous week and it is only Tuesday ! 1) I have bought a mobile phone for the first time....and use it...2) i am now a man who wears clothing over his lower legs in cold weather....3) i have my first pair of actual running socks....4) I have gold shoes ...so you can call me ...Insane Bolt........and I BLOG !! .....THE JOGLE had better be good because it has changed so much of my Victorian existence......................from John e T.
