Arrived in Mataranka and set up at the Bitter Springs Caravan Park. We were excited to get here and experience for ourselves the hot springs that everyone talks about. Arrived into Katherine and set up camp at the Shady Lane Tourist Park. It really is that, as our site is right down in the back corner of the park along the Katherine River. Arrived into Kakadu and set up camp in Jabiru. Great caravan park, only 15 sites all with private ensuites. Great base to explore. Our first day was spent in the East Alligator region of the park and we did a short walk around the rock art site at Ubirr. This last week has been spent in Darwin. We arrived last Monday and quickly set up the van before heading to visit and stay with our great friends Steve and Michelle.
