It's been awhile since the last time I've posted here- It's finally March already and it's crazy how fast time has flown by already. It definately does not seem like I have been here two months. It all just goes by so fast because we are having such an amazing time here and having a balst. I love this place so much and it honestly makes it easier to be here. Along with the fact that I'm here with two of my best friends Holly and Alex. Since it's march that means that I have been very busy!! Unlike January and February where I barely had class and work to do- now I am starting physiology and have papers due at the end of march before break! It's been a lot already, but it really isn't that bad, and the work is STILL definately less than it would be at home- which is always a sigh of releif. It's been a lot of stress these past few weeks actually having to get it all done, but I have managed to complete 3 papers already! I also got to take a breather last night when we FINISHED, I repeat, FINISHED, booking our Europe trip for April!!!!! It was honestly one of the most stressfull things ever- starting to even plan before we got here and then worked out all the legistics and booking on our own was a lot. But nothing has been more rewarding than figuring it all out on our own. From what we want to do, where we want to go, how to get to each place, who to call and talk to. It is all officially done after two months of planning almost every night. The poor guy we were on the phone with last night barely spoke english, and with over and hour and a half phone call we were done booking the final part to our trip. We had so much agitta the ENTIRE two months planning this trip that when we got of the phone with this man we all screamed, were sweating, and practically shaking that it was complete. Then afterwards we all got dressed, looking cute of course, walked in the rain to the city center and ordered Margaritas. We went to this really cute mexican restaraunt, Cafe Mexicanas that was adorable! We split a pitcher of Magarita and some nachos! It was the best way to celebrate our achievement!! We leave for our trip April first and I am so excited. All I have ever dreamed of was to be able to travel and be in school at the same time and to explore everything I can. We will be traveling all over Europe from April first to April 23rd where we come home to Ireland for another month before our departure back to America!! In that time we will see over 9 European countries- HOW CRAZY! But I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else than Holly and Alex, I couldn't have asked for better friends to travel with. While I'm excited that bookings done, and that stress is GONE, I feel more at ease and can now enjoy the rest of March in Ireland. But in the back of my head I am still freaking out about this month long trip, the unkowns, making sure we just do it right. But I know it will all work out and we're going to have the time of our lives like we are here in Ireland. Hell, we are pretty smart girls- and SOOOOO many people who are dummer than us have done this, so I'm sure we will be just fine. I'm excited for what's around the corner and being here everyday. Now that I have more free time from planning, I will be blogging more! Tomorrow and Saturday we are going on "paddy wagon" tours to the Cliffs and to Dingle, a cute fishery town, one of the oldest in Ireland. Those are going to be a blast and I can't wait to explore with the girls- It's going to be a great, and much needed weekend!
Until next time,
Cheers! :)
