Barcelona-
Barcelona was amazing and just beautiful. The weather was so HOT and yes this time I got burned! We checked into our hostel which was in a nice location- except the guy at reception was an a******, pardon my French. Who made us out a 10 euro deposit that we got back when the keys were returned when we left. Let's just say he was on my bad side. But anyhow we headed out for the day and saw the gaudi buildings and houses which were so cool and different. Unlike anything I've seen before. Along the way we stopped at las ramblas the huge market in the center of the city. It put the English market in Ireland to shame. We grabbed some fruit smoothies which were to die for and other fruit! I also grabbed some dragon fruit, yum! My favorite! We also headed towards park guel and saw the city from a high point and the colorful chairs and designs at park guel. That was all we had planned really for Barcelona- so the rest of the day was spent at the beach! And man it was HOT. But so pretty, and it was so nice to be on the beach again. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep. I must say though yet again one of our favorite parts of yet another city, was the food. We found a place the first night here around the corner from our hostel that was a tapas bar. Tapas for one euro and sangria for 3. It was sooooo yummy and so cheap- except we ate so many tapas. And of course did it again our second night there as well. I'm a little burnt, but happy because Barca was beautiful, and it was yet again another amazing time in another city. Time is flying by and soon we will be on Lyon for the night on our way to Switzerland for the weekend. It's crazy to think this trip is coming to an end soon.. But we're trying to take in as much as we can in the days we have left. I will say though that at this point I can't wait to never carry this heavy backpack again, wear my train outfit, or get on a train for a LONGG time. But I would do it again in a heart beat if it meant I could see it all again.
