Day 7 - Lazy Sundays..

Not much to report back on today, we had a typical lazy Sunday. Had a lie in untill about 9 then got up an ready and went to unawatuna beach, had brunch when we got there, we had banana French toast with syrup and creme crèche (curd as they call it) with a lime juice, it was delicious! The lime juice out here is incredible and is a popular drink everywhere. Went to chill on the beach it was such a nice temperature today as it was quite breezy though it meant we didn't realise how strong the sun was, we've all got quite a few red bits today!

At about3pm we went to sahanna beach again to give surfing another go, it was really fun and I was standing up again by the end.. Practice makes perfect! Returned to galle fort to watch for turtles and watch the beautiful sunset over the west side of the fort.

In the evening we set out to find the proper 'mamas roof top cafe', the other one that did us a disappointing meal that I wrote about in a previous blog was apparently a fake!! One of the surfer guys told us that it used to be one business but then they fell out and now 'mama' cooks in a different place still names 'mamas roof top cafe' In The same font very confusing! Anyhow this curry was really good much better than before and we got to meet the real mama!
