I accompanied Scotty in the car to his 09:00 meeting. However the person he was supposed to be meeting did not show. After 15minutes of waiting we headed off to the small shopping mall. Here I picked up a T shirt for my sister, & a mug for me. Scotty grabbed Nicholas Reynolds an alpaca hat in return for Nick downloading movies & shows onto a hard drive for him.
Shopping done, we went to what seems like our second home in Lilongwe the Sun Bird hotel. While I was in the gym, Scotty got on with some work & charged his laptop. Straight after the gym I went poolside & grabbed a beer. I'm sure this is not the recommended post gym activity but it was my last day on holiday. Scotty came & joined me, & we sat until it started to rain. This moved us to the restaurant where we could sit outside under cover. My chicken & chips was very different, as the chicken had a pastry underneath with some tasty sauce in. After lunch we collected Critsel, & took her back to the house. Scotty & I went for some last drinks in Breeze where we sat outside for the first time, listening to some classic tunes on my phone.
At 16:00 I decided it best to have a long nap till 18:45 with tonight's journey in mind.
We were joined by Irish Jane who lives in their complex, & we headed out to dinner. I wanted fish for my final meal so we went back to Bucanans where we had eaten on my first night in Lilongwe. Being sensible I stuck to soft drinks at what was a very enjoyable final meal. The power even came back on in the restaurant when we walked in.
After dinner it was time to pack & fit in a few more episodes of Archer before heading to the airport at midnight.
