After a great nights sleep we had a lazy morning round the house with pancakes & sausages for breakfast.
At 13:00 we headed off to Cristel's friends house, also called Cristel for a BBQ. In attendance were Cristel & her two children, & a lady Scotty hadn't met before & her two kids. It turned out that this woman was from Blyth, small world. The weather was lovely whilst Scotty cooked & we had a few drinks in the garden. We attempted some darts but no one was very good. It wasn't till the food was done that it started to rain. So we moved inside to eat. This also allowed to escape the plethora of flies that were out today. Any poor flies that made it into the house fell victim to Scotty's Cristel. With an almost manic pleasure she began systematically killing all the flies in the house with a fly swatter.
This allowed us to eat out selection of meats, salad & couscous in peace. As the day became night it got close to the kids bedtime so we decided to take the opportunity to depart.
Back at the house there was no power but Cristel had enough charge on her laptop for us to watch a few episodes of 30rock before bed.
