At 09:30 Scotty gave me a lift to the gym. He settled down to do some work as power was out again at the house. Running in the gym was easier this time as I had acclimatised somewhat. The weights were another issue as I had had an entire week off. Still I felt good afterwards, & we embarked on a tour of the bars of Lilongwe.
We grabbed lynch of a quarter chicken & chips each in Alexzanders, a well laid out sports bar. Further drinks followed at Living room & Champions sports bar. At Champions they had an obscene amount of TV's, I'm sure it could never get busy enough to justify that expense. Next was Double Vision a smart little bar with a gaming area attached to it. Harry's bar from the outside looked like a dilapidated wooden shack. But it was a light comfy bar, owned by a lad from Hexham. After a quick pit stop at home to sit out in the sun on the porch we headed to C2K. Where we played pool against a regular, who new the table too well.
After picking Cristel up, Scotty & I headed to Breeze to watch the first half on Ghana Senegal. A slight hiccup on route when the drivers window on the Rav 4 failed. This will have to be looked at by a garage in the morning.
With the Rav out of action we settled down to a night in the house. Scotty made pork chops & mash. As we had power we were able to watch 30rock on the projector.
