The boat to Langkawi was very choppy and people kept throwing up along the way. When we arrived at the hostel the room wasn't as nice as in Penang and it was boiling even though it didn't have a fan. We went to the beach but there were only sunbeds for people staying at the hotels not for general use like from a bar, so we had to sit on the floor with the crabs. We got off the train at about quarter past 5 in the morning and caught the ferry across the island. Once we got there we had to catch a local bus to our hotel. We caught the bus but couldn't see out of the window because of all the condensation but we needed to look out for a hotel to ring the bell and get off. The bus station we arrived at happen to be right around the corner from our hostel. The hostel owner was really really friendly and helpful and gave us a map and drew on it everywhere to go and how to get there on our timeframe.
