Back in Hanoi we had luckily pre booked a different hotel then the one we had been in before ha long bay. We had spoken to people on our tour of about prices for taxis to the airport as we were flying onto Laos after today. Everyone including our guide said 15 dollars was good but the company we had booked our ha long bay tour with had said 10 dollars we hadn't booked it at the time as we didn't know if it was a good deal. The next morning our guide told us that he would be coming with us to ensure we get back on national day which was a relief. The other people would be shown where their bus back to Hanoi was by the sailors ( unfortunately they did not do that which made our guide very pissed off ) we got onto a bus which took us to the national park to climb a mountain. It was raining heavily and we both hated climbing. It makes me realise I will never climb a mountain in my life...

We were really late getting ready because breakfast took 40mins as the guy who makes breakfast was still asleep in his hammock for 20 mins after breakfast was supposed to have started. We arrived early off the sleeper train which was slightly confusing as we expected it to be on time or most likely late not early! I asked a train conductor if this was Hanoi and he just looked at me like I was being very stupid. Our hostel was meant to pick us up but they were a no show which means we paid £3 for a taxi that probably should've cost a pound.
