Today we went on a day trip to the northern part of Senegal to a 'safari' park. It felt more like a zoo however because there were no hunting carnivors only herbivores. We spent a lovely sunny week here sitting by the look with dad and eating amazing food every night! The hotel was so lovely set on large grounds and had monkeys come bounding in every afternoon! We had our last day on the truck, it was another long drive where we were occupied with some more cheesy music to sing along to. When we reached Nairobi, having eaten we got a burger and chips from a takeaway, the burger was nice but we got a mountain of chips each, we couldnt finish them and they made us feel sick because we had so many. We decided to do the Serengeti because we still hadn't seen a lion in the wild and this would be our last opportunity. There were 4 new people on the trip now. Another couple and two girls in the year below us. The people picking us up were late which was frustrating because of how much we had paid for the trip!
