Bought a baguette and coffee from the boulangerie before driving off.
Didn't get very far as I came across a flea market at St Julien. All very interesting and I bought a small blue and white striped parasol which matches my bedding.
I changed my destination as I remembered that there was a HSBC bank in Le Blanc about 2 hrs away. Chose a campsite about 20 kms from there. It has been raining hard all afternoon. Going through St Benoit I saw HSBC bank right next to an aires. This would have been perfect but I needed a shower and it was raining hard. Anyway I decided to check the opening times. It is Sunday today and the bank is closed on Mondays. It is just as well that I checked.
Now in an Acsi site which is still accepting the card- many of them stop at this time and the sites are much more expensive.
I have a pleasant grassy site next to a fast flowing river with all the rain today.
It seemed strange watching the cycling from Yorkshire.
I have now stayed another day. While having a drink in reception with the dishy manager, a tractor chugs in pulling a little cabin. See photo.
