After a good rest in Logrono, we were up early and rearing to go...on the road by 6.45am! We were so excited to be back on the road we walked for six hours straight (with virtually no stops) and arrived here just after midday. Unfortunately for us, we had to wait 2.5 hours for our refugio to open! Two pluses, it is free and it is 30 degrees outside today!

The highlight of the day was when when a puppy stole my sandal while Gabe and I were playing UNO on the grassy riverbank. It took us about 15 minutes (with the family owners) to get the rascal and retrieve the sandal! We all had a good laugh.

Having a minor bout of heat rash (booo) but went to the pharmacy for some cream to sort it out. Mom, I´ll let you know how I go.

Tomorrow is an easy day and we are thinking of powering ahead because people in our current group are bogus. We´ll see how we end up tomorrow.
