A reasonably easy day today, however it felt like a long long day. We had a nice late start (on the road by 7:20am) and a relaxing day of ups and downs today, although poor old me is still falling apart with a strained thigh slowed things down! Injuries aside, we still made really good time and got to Portomarin by midday.

We are now showered, are bellies are full (Liz somehow managed to find a jar of peanut butter to get us through the next few days), and our clothes are washed. All that is left for the day is relaxation and UNO (you will all be happy to know that I now hold a convincing 6 match lead in the series - hard to come back from that Liz!!).

The next few days are all under 30km and relatively easy rolling hills leading up to santiago. All we have to do is try to figure out what to do once we arrive as we have 8 extra days up our sleeve!!! Suggestions welcome!
