Today was more about seeing things than trudgin through our walk. We detoured to see a really cool 12th century gothic church built by the Knights Templar in Eunate. It was only 2km off the beaten track, so why not, right?

Hit the road at 7am this morning, with more cold, but clear and pleasant weather. The beginning was all uphill for the first 6km. But it wasn´t too bad, we had a cool windfarm and rolling hills to look at along the way! When we got to the top of the ridge, it was a magnificent view, one that cameras will never do justice. I´ve never seen so many greens in my entire life. It was breathtaking. After our detour we stopped in Obanos for lunch of fresh baguette with chorizo and cheese, which is slowly becoming a regular feature. A small piece of local dark orange chocolate to finish off and we hit the road. Made it into our hostel by 1pm. Just spent most of the afternoon sitting in the huge garden playing UNO (again, we decided to make a trip long tournament) and reading about tomorrow´s walk.
