Today was a real power day of walking. We treated ourselves to breakfast of cafe con leche (milky coffee) and toast at the local cafe, so it made for a nice start to the day. We started early early, on the road by 7am. Weather today was actually clear and sunny, though still very windy and cold. We had a monster climb really early, but any begrudging thoughts we may have had were washed away in an amazing view over the valley. From there we pushed on through more rolling green hills and typical screensaver quality scenery. Now we know where Windows goes for its material. By 11am we reached Boadilla del Camino (we called it Bo-diddly for short) where we had planned to stay for the evening. But after a fab pb&j for lunch on fresh baked bread (yuuuuummmmmm), we decided the legs could handle another 6.4km or so.

Sooooo, we´ve rolled into town where we are staying, got here at about 2pm. Showered, washing, wondered around, but now we are just waiting for the bloody stores to finish having a siesta so we can get some food! Again, no USB worthy computer, which is a shame because we just ticked over 700 photos taken. Crazy, right? Tomorrow we may be back on track, is planned to be a lazy 20km day, but with our track record so far who knows...
