Today was an earlier than expected start due to the chorus of snoring that even industrial earplugs could not silence! Awake at 4am, up at 5:30, and out the door by 6:40. Another cold morning greeted us as we forced our weary bones out the door. Frost was all over the ground and the moon was still shining in the sky. Luckily for us this meant a clear sunny morning, after sunrise! The days walk was slow sailing early in the day due to soreness, but easy, pleasant stuff. There were a few steep inclines, but before we knew it we were in Pamplona. As we arrived way earlier than expected we decided to check out the sights; gothic cathedral and plaza de toros. Well worth a look (photos to follow, promise). As we were still feeling reasonably healthy, we treked on another 4km to our refugio in cizur menor, where we spent the afternoon in the sun, drying our washing and playing UNO. Great day all round. Tomorrow we face another rather large uphill battle straight off the bat ( up to 790m thru a wind farm) but a rather relaxing 21.3km stroll, today was a lazy 23km. So, when we manage to find an Internet cafe we will update the travel plan (stoney) and put some photos up for all to see. Thanks for the messages on our board (the blisters are holding, although I seem to have contracted one from liz! And Dom, enjoy the ham, I bought that when I started working in Geelong - you do the used by math). Until next time!
