It took until Friday to get sorted and we were very grateful when the hotel kindly offered us the 3 rd night free!!!! we left carefully but we now are sure that Rob Dazzler who mended it did a really good job and Freddy is running really well again.
We headed up through Colorado and went to Aspen which is really pretty and then the ski resort of Telluride which again is really beautiful. The snow season has finished and the places were quiet and the mountains really gorgeous. We really loved Colorado . Then we crossed into Utah and went to Moab which has lots of cantons which are mainly red and visually amazing. We camped in the middle of nowhere and just enjoyed the scenery.
A quick trip up to salt lake City to meet Tom and Bill who run G B R and were reassured that all was well with the truck. Bill kindly allowed us to park in front of his place and it was great to meet Tom who had come so highly recommended by John in Arkansas and who was great.
We left there yesterday and are currently in Nevada. There is a rodeo on this weekend so we hope to go and then we will pass through las Vegas before going to Death Valley national Park..
