Homer was a lovely town and situated on the end of the peninsula overlooking amazing mountain ranges and lots of stunning glaciers. There seemed to be one around every corner!! We left the boat on Wednesday in the sunshine and drove north up to Haines junction. We crossed the border into the Yukon and started up the Alaska highway. We left Portland on Wednesday in the end as we had a few things to sort out with the truck and it took a couple of days. A leisurely drive up the coast in the sunshine and we arrived in Bellingham.
