We left on Monday morning and headed to North pole. Here we spent a happy hour in the shop looking at all the Xmas things and admiring the enormous Santa Claus outside. From here we went south and despite the snowy weather we drove for the rest of the day arrived in Tok . We parked up in a closed RV park in the town. The weather has been very very cold at night. Everything freezes inside , the water in the kettle, the windows , the water in the containers too . The main water tank has been frozen for days . We are cosy in bed though but the condensation is a nuisance in the morning. The next few days were spent travelling for the day very slowly as the roads became more and more snowy as we went south. There is traffic on the highway mostly big trucks who don't seem to have any problems with the state of the roads and go past us all the time.
Today is Monday and we have got to Fort St. John and slept on Walmart car park last night. We have been swimming a couple of times which is good and we have seen so much wildlife by the roads . We have seen grizzly bears, elk , moose, bison, Stone sheep . This makes every day an adventure, even if we are travelling at an average of 30 miles an hour!
Today we are driving to Dawson Creek and then it's down to Jasper.
I had a good birthday and the picture is me with Iggy and Lou who came from North pole!!!!!!!
