As you can see, dad is branching out and offering wedding photos. He tried really hard to get rid of the bridegroom but couldn't. We were actually in the car park and had just visited the salt cathedral which was truly amazing. It was a vast area about 200 meters underground. It took us 2 hours to visit and we didn't stop! we also did the mine trip . This involved donning a helmet and then going without a light holding onto the wall. this was supposed to give you an idea of the working life of the miners. We also had a go at mining the salt with a pick axe and then set off some dynamite. It was hilarious and very enjoyable way as we are sure that the health and safety police would not have liked it at all.
We have spent the last couple of days in Barichara a lovely little town with wonderful countryside around it .The scenery is amazing and quite different as you go round the mountains. We are stunned by it's beauty and can't get over the hospitality and kindness of people. Today we were escorted by 2 policemen on motorbikes to make sure we found the right road. However the downside is the time it takes to drive anywhere. We did 100km in 5 hours today!!!!!!!! Everyone is so patient stuck behind these huge trucks on narrow winding roads.
