Well we finished the ´Swamp´! the information centre/bar. we through a leaving party on tuesday night as 6 people left on wednesday It was a brilliant night, had lots of fun and was quite eventful. great way to say goodbye to everyone. There was a huge storm on friday and it knocked down two huge trees right by the lodge that i was standing in, had to run out as fast as i could just in case one fell and crushed the building.

The mosquitoes are such a problem now. You can see swarms of them everywhere. Even in the lodge which is where we use to be safe from them, they´ve found a way in. Constantly itching!

We rented mopeds yesterday and rode to a lake with a water slide into it. very muddy track to get to it but was funny watching everyone swerving to keep their balance. We also went up the observation tower which is situated in the middle of town. you can see the whole of Puerto and how its surrounded by jungle, pretty spectacular.

The morning i had lodge maintenance the two monkeys had escaped from their enclosure so we had to try and get them back in, quite hard work as they are very strong animals and if they dont want to do something then they wont do it.
