We started the morning with a beautiful breakfast of banana pancakes and banana smoothies, cooked by Sue and mum. After breakfast we packed up and headed out of Geraldton.
We had decided to travel south and stop at a free camp for the night. After about an hours drive we stopped at a free camp called Cliff Head. We pulled up in a perfect spot right on the beach and set up camp. The fishing rods came out and we were attacked by total relaxation.
Cliff head was such a great spot that we stayed for two nights and over the course of two days we caught Stingrays, a couple of Shovel Nose shark and a some smaller fish. Nothing to write home about but definitely lots of fun.
I also tested out my scones in the convection oven, using the generator. They were a hit...
The second night was the last night we were staying with the Well's crew. They had taken a job offer to manage the caravan park at Rainbow Beach in QLD. We've had the most amazing time with them and made friendships for life. I'm sure there will be trips to Rainbow Beach in our future...
The next morning we said our goodbyes and headed south again, our plan for the day was to check out the Pinnacles.
