Today we headed for Mildura. First stop for the day was Hay. We met a nice couple of old ladies running a second hand book store, so we stocked up on books for the kids.
The road from Hay to Mildura was long flat and very uneventful. We saw a couple of number 57 chickens (emus) and lots of beautiful fruit and nut plantations.
The best site was seeing the Murray river as we came into Mildura.
We stayed the night at another free camp right on the river. Did a bit of fishing, with no luck. Off to Cadel tomorrow.
