Deb's Adventures
We are having a wonderful visit with Lesley. It has been really great having her here on Holiday, although we are all missing Ray and are ready for his arrival. We seem to keep saying to each other "Ray would love this". Don't worry Ray, we have plenty of cool stuff planned for after you get here.
On Wednesday we had a little mid-week party at our house. We had about a dozen people over and hung out down by the lake for the day. Eric's brother Alex came with his goofy dog MJ. She is not a very good swimmer so Alex bought her a life jacket. Apparently she loves it because she swam and swam and swam some more. Every time we looked up she was just swimming around in circles 20 feet from shore.
The weather cooperated and we all spent the day on floatie toys and playing with our friends kids. We ate lots of great food and hung out on the deck well into the night. As it was getting dark we broke out a bunch of our homemade beer and wine and had a little tasting on our deck. Everything was a hit which made us feel great about The Glazier Bay Brewery and Winery. (For those of you that don't know Eric and I make beer and wine). By far the favorite was our Chocolate Orange Port.
It was really great to catch up with friends that I have not seen in a while. More people should have ditched work early and come play with us.
