Deb's Adventures
This morning I said goodbye to Grandma and headed over to the kennel to pick up Hagrid and be on my way. Hagrid was so pathetic when I dropped him off, I was kind of worried about how he would be when I picked him up. Turns out he spent 8 hours in Doggie Day Care yesterday. He barely stopped playing for food and water breaks. At the end of the day they gave him a bath and he fell asleep during the blow dry portion. This morning he jumped in the car and immediately collapsed in the back seat and didn't move all day. Apparently he had fun yesterday and I worried for nothing.
Today I drove 475 miles from Columbia Missouri to Huber Heights Ohio. It was not quite as boring or as long as the drive through Kansas on Wednesday but still not very exciting. The highlight was Krista calling and keeping me company for 20 minutes. I also laughed at myself when I misread a sign for Fortville and thought it was Fartville for a minute. Finally I may have made a some kind of rude hand gesture to Peyton Manning when I drove past Lucas Oil Stadium. I am a Patriots fan after-all.
I usually like to listen am radio and ESPN radio as I drive through the mid-west but it was annoying today. All anyone talks about is Tim Tebow. I just can't join the Tebow love-fest. So I was again grateful for my Ipod and my playlist that Eric and I affectionately call "Radio Deb". I will definitely get to my Mom's before the big game tomorrow and I will be cheering for Tom Brady and the boys from New England.
I am very excited to get to Maryland and to be finished with the long drives for a while.

Andrea Well, your Pats definitely flattened the Tebow nation for a while! I’m looking forward to the rest of your trip blog... what a great idea.
