29/5 Friday Negreira to Santa Mariña 19.5km
Not much to report today other than the stress of my phone failing to charge! I’m somewhat reliant on the phone as it is my camera, guide book, map and accommodation booking system! It seems to be a power cable fault with both cables I have!

Breakfast in the way out of Negreira then pleasant woodland paths for the morning including a butty stop. Then the countryside was more open and walking was beside quite roads and along gravel lanes.

I stopped for refreshment at Vilaserío where I met Titania, a German woman, who lent me here phone charge cable to try. Seemed to work so I got a bit of a charge over a cold drink.

A hot afternoon with little shade but I took a second butty break under a tree before walking into Santa Mariña where the Albergue looked promising but the outside seating was plagued with flies.

There was no phone signal and the wifi was flakey as I desperately tried to order a new cable from amazon.es to get delivered to my planned Albergue in Muxia. That took a frustrating hour! I was able to find a phone signal so I could at least have a quick chat with Jill. Then it was off to try to borrow a cable again.
