Sunday 12th June we arrived back into Darwin just after 5am....... After breakfast Keith came out the airport to pick us up. On arrival back to Keith and Wendy's place in Howard Springs we crashed into the bus to catch up on Zzzzzzzz, as not much sleep was had on the flight back. We woke in time for lunch, mud crabs.....yum...and met Rob (Coffs Habour) and his daughter Erin (Rye). Wendy, Rob & Erin went off to the local pub to see a band. We unpacked and Wendy came back to and we then went to the pub before having dinner at the Darwin Wharf.
During our time with Keith and Wendy we enjoyed a day with Rob and Erin exploring Litchfield National Park, Berry Hot Springs and enjoying swimming in all the pools and waterfalls.
Greg & Helen arrived and set up at the back of the property with their puppy, Holly and were later joined for a week with their son, Ken who flew in.
  We spent three days at the V8's at the Hidden Valley Raceway with great weather. Rob & Erin reluctantly headed back home.
We had several visits to the lovely Berry Springs Tavern and quickly learnt to share a meal there, as no-one got through their meal on the first visit. After a meal at the Tavern we would head to the Berry Springs for a lovely swim. The weather is constantly 33 -35 degrees.......
We took Keith & Wendy on a sunset dinner cruise on the Charles Darwin and thoroughly had a great night. We enjoyed an evening at Mindel Market, love the food here....
We helped Keith with the erection of his shed, Lorelle was given a new nickname "Ralph" whilst working on the site. "Ralph" was easier than Lorelle to yell out instructions.....
An afternoon was enjoyed at the Darwin Showgrounds at the 4x4 / Camping expo, in search of new chairs..... Didn't purchase one at the show but got a great deal at one of the stores that were at the expo.....
We also enjoyed NT day, fireworks down at Lee Point with Keith & Wendy's friends from the caravan park. Speedway on Saturday night.
Happy hour was enjoyed each afternoon with great company, and great shared dinners were also enjoyed at the Green Acres and buffet dinners at the Casino.
We also had time to just relaxed at their beautiful property at Howard Springs.
A huge thank you to both Keith and Wendy for allowing us to stay with you......Did you know that DABUS was with you for 6 weeks and two days.?????
