Thursday 9th June was a day of travelling. We left Hoi An and were dropped off at DaNang airport, where we flew out to Ho Chi Minh. From Ho Chi Minh we flew into Buon Ma Thout and caught a cab out to the Coffee Tour Resort, we arrived at 9.30pm, so it was an early night as we were b*****ed. We flew into DaNang on Saturday 4th June and were picked up by our hotels car. Whow..... how different Danang and the drive to Hoi An was, after the hustle and bustle of the streets of Hanoi. Not many cars and bikes here, but they still love their horns.Our plan was just to stop for a while and chill out and Hoi An certainly is the place to do it.We spent five days in Hoi An and the weather was bloody hot, one day reaching 40 degrees.Our days were filled with wal...

Our overnight train arrived back in Hanoi at 5.30 am, so we walked around to Jaspers for breakfast. We walked back to hotel, Mark, Pearl and Taylor took a taxi back, it was already stinking hot by the time we finished breakfast and the streets were so busy... We enjoyed sitting on a park bench around Hoan Kiem Lake watching the locals dancing, this was about 8 in the morning. After a pleasant sleep on the train we arrived at Lao Cai Station at 6.30am, where we walked across to a cafe, enjoyed a coffee before jumping on a bus to Sa Pa. The bus trip took about one hour. On arrival to the Cat Cat View Hotel, our rooms were available, so we could check in, freshen up and have breakfast before going into the town for a look around.In town, we were soon joined by a red Dao woman who was happy to chat and follow us everywhere, no sooner did ...

We arrived at Noi Bai Airport at Hanoi and thankfully we had arranged a car from the hotel to pick us up. Our introduction to the Vietnamese road rules was very interesting to say the least, our driver was fantastic and we arrived safely at our hotel.
