Before leaving Jabaru, we were both in the swimming pool at 9am to cool off for our drive.
Our first stop for the day was the South Alligator River, it was so wide with muddy banks. We saw one croc. Next stop was the Mary River Billabong, where the bus got dirty yet again. We stopped for the night at The Purple Mango Cafe. It has great reviews on Wikicamps, it has only been open 13 weeks, the host previously owned and operated a charter boat in the Kimberly's and this was their dream to set up a Cafe and eventually a brewery and all with a campground. Only got charged $10 per person a night.
We set up the bus in the campground before heading up to the cafe for an amazing wood fired chicken and mango pizza.
