DABUS
No sooner were we back out onto the Victoria Highway than we were turning right into the Keep River National Park. After stopping at the information board, we drove onto the ranger’s office and the Cockatoo Lagoon on very rough corrugated roads. We decided to tackle the road to the first campground and tackle and rattle we did. Eighteen kilometres of rough roads (did we tell you how rough it was?) we arrived at Gurrandalng Campground. Spent the afternoon researching information on Kununurra and beyond.
In the morning we did a spectacular walk, seeing sights that looked like the mini bungle bungles. On the way out we also stopped to do the Gingers Hill walk, to break up the drive.
