We made the drive to the East coast today and then up to Kaikoura. It is a great town set in front of huge snowy mountains and has a rocky coastline that is very popular with Seals and birds. Unfortunatley the wind was rediculously strong when we arrived so after a quick hello to some of the seals we found a place to stay a little out of town, which also had an amazing flying fox that we entertained ourselves with.
