We got up quite early this morning and set off pretty quickly. We did manage to get a good day time look at the giant fruit and get a few photos to boot. Yet another freezing cold night, ice on the inside again! At least we had managed to stay a little warmer with having the two duvets each. We didn't get up too early this morning as we didn't have a very long drive to do today to Lake Tekapo. We woke up this morning and looked out onto the beautiful view of the sea, mountains, boats and the sunshine. We made some breakfast and packed the bed away, we started looking at the maps as we still haven't really got an itinerary for this trip. There's so much we want to see and places we want to visit. It was really difficult to sleep last night, I reckon that was our coldest night yet seen as there was ice on the inside of all of the windows and even small icicles! Apparently it had dropped to -3c in the night, no wonder we were cold. We made a decision to go shopping for some more covers for when we sleep.
