Emerson has been banging on about meeting Evie for weeks, today she was torn finally getting to meet Evie, and going back to Disneyland! We decided against the 2hr queue for Ratatouille we'll hit it on Friday. Instead Max led off choosing Rover the RC Racer for us to ride, fantastic way to break them back into coasters, but Emerson was still petrified.
As we were coming to the end of the RC Racers queue Rob & Evie arrived it was hard to tell what the kids were more excited about. We headed over to meet the newly engaged couple and had Emerson present them with their "wedding ears" we figured there was more chance of them wearing them coming from her :)
Indiana Jones had to compete with Gab and Emerson suffering collective seizures when they found Elsa dolls and dresses for sale, but eventually we made it to the ride - awesome! We followed this up with Big Thunder Mountain then Space Mountain. It was parade time, the girls found a perfect spot where the kids to could stand on the rail to watch the show. By the end even Rob climbed up to get just a little closer to the Mickey magic.
Over to Walt Disney Studios we got to Crush's Coaster where the 90 minute wait from this morning had disappeared. Full of excitement all the way to end, then Max got the jitters but pushed himself on, he came out with a smile from ear to ear - he had a ball, as did we all.
Next was the Aerosmith coaster, with Emerson tall enough to ride it she was pretty excited right up until she asked the castmember if there was a loop the loop, that was it, she made a b-line for the exit queue and consoled herself with a go on the slinky spinner thing.
Finally time for some feet up we headed to the village for drinks and dinner while Gab did some essential shopping. They even have a King Ludvig's Castle restaurant with the first Bavarian Weiss I've had in France. We got too settled in and almost missed the grand finale "Dreams" but got back to Main Street with minutes to spare - WOW! Lights, Water, Fire and Fireworks - best castle show we've seen by a mile!
We went back for another ale while the queues for the trains died down, Gab heard the last train was leaving in a few minutes, we bolted for the last train to Paris and made it with just 18 minutes to spare. We got back to the Champs-Elysee around 1am and after some clowning in the not too empty streets and a dodgy taxi ride back to the apartment we didn't get to bed until 2am. 25.6k steps today for me so you can imagine how trashed the kids were - no one woke before 10 the next morning :)
