I woke up with a pigeon at the end of the bed, thankfully he knew the way out, all I needed to do was flick my leg. With a 7hr drive to Paris in front of us we were up and on the road impressively early given the late night in town the night before. We hit Lyon just before 10 and headed for Les Halles for brunch. No one was in a hurry to get up this morning, perhaps the longer you sleep the longer it will last.
