Cycled the World's Most Dangerous Road!!! Started at 4,800 metres & finished, exhausted, at 1200 metres. Absolutely freezing cold for the first few hours but absolutely beautiful as we descended through the clouds.

Def one of the most mentally challenging feats I have ever attempted. The narrow road is sheet rock, dust & loose scree with mountain to one side & sheer drop of thousands of metres to the other. Every second needed concentration, tricky when the ride is just so darn uncomfortable.

Absolutely hated the first hour or so of Death Road but then I finally seemed to get into the zone & enjoyed myself.

Utterly shattered at the end of the day. Thank goodness the hostel organises pizza delivery!! One glass of wine in celebration & then I fell into bed.
