Gorgeous sunny day here in La Paz. Got kitted out with my suit, helmet & gloves to cycle the infamous Death Road tomorrow. Am so excited but also terrified at the same time!!!

Wandered through the witches' market with its dead llamas, skeletons & strange powder to assist in the bedroom ;). Bolivians seem to be very concerned about such problems!

Purchased some coca sweeties which are continuing to help with my wooziness.

Emma & I sat on the steps on Plaza de San Fransisco with our matching lonely planet/rough guide & talked through our route for the next few months. Am sooooo excited...can't wait to hit the first night bus!

Stopped for a spot of Irish stew in the English pub where Duo Topini enjoyed a chat with the landlord.

Chilled afternoon topped off with a great chilli in La Cueva over sangria with Emma & her fab scottish tour mates.

Time for sleep before tomorrow's terrifying bike ride. Hmmmmmmm....
