Love that my express transfer here took 2 1/2 hours more than the public bus!!! Met a cool bunch of people over Caipirinhas in the hostel bar in an awesome thunderstorm. Fell into bed at crazy o' clock!

Today I was a daring culture vulture! Took the metro to Cinelandia & wandered the old buildings of downtown Rio. Visited the Museum of Fine Art & the National History museum. Very geeky but I had a great day! As it was my last day I hit the beach again to watch the sun go down over Leblon with an ice cold Brahma.

Sooo after 2 hours in the havaianas store my present shopping for the girls is complete! After so more beach time...it is what one does in Rio...was time to have my crazy traveller's hair attended to! After 3 hours & numerous treatments later I emerged a sparkling brunette & felt much more Ami. I of course rushed home to post on Facebook!
