After a quiet morning I joined Jen & Mareika for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Not my favourite Panamanian meal. We then wandered through the skyscrapers on the bay to Punta Pacifica. Was super excited to see the canal! Was lucky enough to be there in the morning to watch the Miraflores lock work her magic as a cargo shipped from Hong Kong steamed through. Something utterly mesmerising & also nostalgic about watching it. So old fashioned but so clever! There are plans to modernise & rebuild over the coming years so was so pleased to be able to see it as it was nearly 100 years ago. Yaaay a spot of magnet shopping & of course bough...

Wow after 2 months of travelling my first glimpse of the skyscrapers in Panama City made me feel like I had travelled into the future. Perhaps I had arrived in Panem (oh my excitement about the hunger games must be playing with my mind)!

Great day of snorkelling & deserted desert island beaches. More swimming with sharks, this time white tipped reef sharks. Despite being covered in suncream still managed to burn my bum!
