Crazy long day trip to visit Lake Titicaca & Isla de la Sol. Up at 6 & back at 10 pm, in total 8 hours on a bus & 3 hours on boats!! Still all the travel was worth it for the spectacular views.

Sun Island is inhabited by the ancient Aymara people. A special day to visit the island as 21st of June is the Aymara new year & the winter solstice. Walked the Inca steps, drank from the fountain of youth (sadly this needs to be done everyday to achieve maximum results) & stooped to enter the temple of the sun.

Also experienced my first hike at 8,400 metres which was at time absolutely freezing. For a girl who doesn't like hiking I better get over myself fast!
