The last day of our tour today, it was sad but I was looking forward to getting out on our own. Our major stop for the day was in Stratford-upon-Avon. This place is famous for one main reason, William Shakespeare. It isn't as over re top as you would might think, not everything is named after him or his plays but there where enough places (Othello's Bar for instance) to let you know he was from around here. We saw a few monuments to him, there is one major one next to the river that is very nice. We also saw his grave which has the famous curse on it which curses anyone who moves his bones. The town itself is lovely, exactly what you would imagine an English river town to be like with weeping willows falling over the banks, swans and ducks being fed bread by children and the locks decorated with flowers. Very nice indeed. We arrived in London at about 3:30 said our goodbyes and I had a bit of a wander. Sally joined me later and we ended up outside Buckingham Palace which is around the corner from our hotel. It is massive from the outside and we will be going inside it in a few days which is exciting. We are off to explore the city tomorrow so until then so long.
