The war museum was lacking compared to the British one but was still informative. Today was a giant pain in the arse really. It started out well enough, after we checked out we were able to leave our bags at the hotel so we could have a further wander. We ended up at the Tate Modern art museum. I use the word art liberally, but what would I know. For example there was one piece that was a largish canvas painted all Ted except for a purple stripe on the right hand side. Ridiculous that this is hanging in a museum, but once again what do I know....

Was another long day today with us traveling 700kms from Barcelona to Nice but the places we went to last night made it well worth it. Just a short entry today. We travelled from Paris to Bordeaux today which are about 600km apart. We started our journey early and plowed on until we reached Blois. Blois is a medium sized town in the Loire Valley and is home to a royal palace where King Francis I spent most of his time.
